Chances are if you mention Salesforce.com (SF) to anyone in the financial sector, the industrial sector, the customer service sector, or anyone in business of any type, they know exactly what you’re talking about. Founded in 1999, Salesforce has catapulted to the top of the business ladder as the premier Customer Relationship Management (CRM) product on the cloud. Salesforce has brilliantly positioned themselves such that they’re currently experiencing a market capitalization of $45 billion. That’s impressive for a 19 year old company, based on any standard.
CIRCE Software Inc. was intentionally created using the backbone and power behind Salesforce.com because of the unlimited scalability inherent in the software-as-a-service (SaaS). CIRCE was designed to meet a need within the non-profit social service industry so client management could effectively take place on multiple platforms with a user-friendly interface, globally; all while remaining HIPPA compliant. The beauty of the service is centered around the ability to simultaneously update a client record database instantly coupled with the ease of use, allowing for more time to be spent assisting the client and less time managing bureaucratic red-tape.
Since the advent of the smart phone and the realization of its obvious versatility, it’s only fitting that record management become less time consuming and far more effective with the synthesis of tools such as Salesforce.com and the recently released CIRCE Barcode Scanner to Salesforce (BCS). The BCS App which is available for both Android and iOS mobile devices and tablets allows the user to scan a barcode to update a record hosted within Salesforce instantly from anywhere in the world.
Potential uses for such an App ranges from simplifying the process of tracking client participation at a meeting, class, or event; updating the status of equipment levels, expiration dates, and calibration; to recording time spent (time card application) and inventory control. The limits have yet to be discovered because of the great potential associated with the uses.
Since the launch of the BCS on April 15, 2016, inquiries for the CIRCE client management platform has increased more than 400 percent. Because of the barcode scanner’s versatility and recent success, the Salesforce App is now available in the Salesforce AppExchange market to the general business public and not limited to the CIRCE social service sector. That means the BCS is now available without having to purchase CIRCE licenses, but instead is now also offered as an individual package.
Businesses of any type who benefit from using Salesforce.com can now access the power associated with a smart phone and tablet to manage a database. Things will not be the same for business after incorporating the CIRCE Barcode Scanner to Salesforce. Time management will experience a paradigm shift in favor of increasing business profits through customer relationship management.
